Professional Sound Level Meter for iOS

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the SoundMeter mobile application (the "App") operated by Mobile Alchemy ("we", "us", or "our").
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the App.
SoundMeter is a sound level measurement application that uses your device's microphone to display approximate decibel readings, frequency spectrum data, and noise exposure information.
Important: SoundMeter is designed for informational and educational purposes only. The App uses your device's built-in microphone, which is not a calibrated scientific instrument. Readings may vary between devices and should not be considered as certified or legally compliant measurements.
The App is not a substitute for professional-grade sound level meters, certified noise dosimeters, or occupational noise monitoring equipment. Do not rely solely on this App for hearing protection decisions, regulatory compliance, or any purpose requiring certified measurements.
The App displays exposure time guidelines based on NIOSH (National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health) recommended exposure limits. This information is provided for general educational reference only and should not be used as the sole basis for hearing protection decisions. Always consult qualified professionals and use certified equipment for occupational noise assessments.
The App offers the following in-app purchases:
All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions. Prices are displayed in your local currency. Non-consumable purchases can be restored on any device signed into the same Apple ID.
All in-app purchases are processed through Apple. Refund requests must be directed to Apple in accordance with their refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.
The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Mobile Alchemy and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that measurement readings will be accurate or suitable for any specific purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mobile Alchemy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or hearing damage, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the App or in-app purchases in the twelve months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mobile Alchemy from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any reason including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately.
